Join us at the opening of the Sweet Willow Community Garden (SWCG) on Saturday, May 31st, 2-4 pm at the garden at 31 Rochester Street. Many of you helped make this garden happen and we want to thank you!

This project of the Dalhousie Community Association (DCA) Public Realm Committee has been a labour of love. Over the past three years we planned and transformed this empty lot at the edge of LeBreton Flats.  This garden will grow into an oasis and community connector! 

Come join in the festivities:

• Soil building & vermicomposting (The Box Of Life)
• Creating a bee-friendly garden (Bytown Bees)

And…there will be music and yummy food bites by The Door/LaPorte Youth Centre, who arealso gardeners at SWCG!
