2011 Network Optimization Proposals: Public Consultation

OC Transpo is seeking customer feedback into the network service proposal that supports the approved 2011 Budget. The plan proposes redesigning the network to make routes more direct, productive, and reliable, while ensuring that we can keep fares down and make our transit system sustainable for the long term.

While over 90% of customers will be unaffected by the proposed changes, some will have to walk a little farther to a bus stop, and service on some routes will be reduced. As a valued customer, we want to make sure you are aware of what is being proposed. Most importantly, we want to hear from you.

You’re invited to attend the following public open houses to find out if any of the proposed changes affect your transit travel. Details on the proposed changes will be available on octranspo.com on March 23rd.

  1. I'm sure the city will listen to what the people want and do the opposite, just like the budget.

My only suggestion is don't have multiple buses running the same route at the same time so the drivers can have their breaks together.

  2. Hi Eric,

Where do I get posters of the AGM to put up around my neighbourhood? I saw one on Preston Street, but I think my streets (Elm, Spruce, Primrose) could use a few posters as well.
